Maintaining Your Slim Physique - How to Never Gain Weight and Keep Those Pounds Off Your Body  E-mail

Maintaining your slim physique, at a guess, would be any woman's aspiration, and at the same time, an ordeal for many. It is just so hard to maintain that ideal weight and for many of us, we seem to be forever on that swing of weight loss and weight gain.

So what should a woman do to forever keep those extra pounds off her body? Here are some easy tips to remember.

EAT VEGETABLES, VEGETABLES AND VEGETABLES. Vegans are slimmer and lighter than meat eaters because greens are packed with nutrients but are without those carbohydrates that spell calories. So do eat all you want, and as often as you want, as long as they are greens and prepared without fat.

EXERCISE REGULARLY. We don't have to torture ourselves with hard to do exercises. Acceptable forms of exercise are those we can do every day without the hassle of going to the gym such as brisk walking, jogging, aerobics/dancing we can do at home with the aid of a videotape, and even strenuous activities such as cleaning and gardening. Activities that help us burn energy and quicken the pace of our heartbeat and make us sweat is exercise.

DRINK PLENTY OF WATER. Unlike most drinks we consume daily such as coffee, juices, tea, carbonated soda and alcoholic beverages, water is without sugar and cleanses our body of unwanted toxins. Water makes us feel full and less likely to feel hungry and crave food. Drinking eight (8) glasses of water everyday is the start to achieving that well-toned physique we crave.

Maintaining your slim physique is not an impossible feat if we keep to the three (3) basic tips outlined above. They are tried and tested and have been taught to us since we were in grade school but for some reason, we think expensive and hard to do weight loss formulas are the key to weight loss success. While they do solve weight loss problems, starting a weight loss regimen should start with the basics.
